NCT stands for Neo Culture Technology and they're under SM Entertaiment.
Their concept is to have an unlimited number of members.
The sub-units are: NCT U , NCT 127 , NCT DREAM and WayV
NCT 2018 did promotions with only 18 members back in 2018, and their recent project NCT 2020 was later joined by the other three existing members Xiaojun, Hendery and YangYang and two new members Shotaro and Sungchan, making them (currently) 23 members.
NCT 2021 is currently promoting [except for winwin (actor debut) and lucas (hiatus)] with 21 members.

NCT's fandome name is NCTzens and WayV's fandom name WayZenNi and the fandom color is Pearl Neo Champagne.

NCT Lightstick is called Meumwonbong "neobong"
WayV Lightstick is called Leekbong

The "limitless" unit. Every release by NCT U has different members. The members change based on if they fit the song concept. Any member within the NCT System can be in an NCT U comeback or song.

The simplest unit. Their name is based on the longitude of Seoul, which is 127°. Consists of currently 9 members. Winwin was in 127, but is currently promoting with WayV until further notice. Fixed members

⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀NCT Dream

The "kid unit" debuted all its members under 18. They were supposed to graduate from the unit into other units when they turned 20, but SME changed the system. It now consists of the 7 original Dream members. For comebacks, the lineup will be contained within those 7 members. Fixed members within the group.

aka NCT Vision/NCT China. It stands for We Are Your Vision. The Chinese sub-unit of NCT and the first unit that's not based in South Korea. Consists of 7 members. Fixed members. Winwin currently promotes with them.

This sub-unit doesnt have fixed members, the lineup changes for every comeback, and it depends on who fits the concept of the song.
they are the first unit to debut on April 9th 2016 with The 7th sense with Taeyong, Ten, Doyoung, Jaehyun and Mark

the number 127 refers to the longitude for Seoul, where they are based.
they are the second sub-unit to debut on July 7 2016 with Firetruck with just 7 members.
on January 6 2017, they made a comeback Limitless with two new members Johnny and Doyoung.
Jungwoo was added in the group with the Regular-Irregular comeback.
Winwin didn't promote with 127 since superhuman era.

MEMBERS: Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle and Jisung
they used to have this graduation system where they "graduate" after they turn the age of 20.
Mark didn't take part in boom and ridin' because of it. But now they removed the graduating system,
they're the third sub-unit to debut on August 24 2016 with Chewing Gum

WayV stands for We are your Vision and they debuted on January 17 2019 with a chinese ver. of Regular
they are the chinese sub-unit and the fandom name is WayZenNi or weishennie
they are the fourth sub-unit to debut and the first group under SM Entertainment's chinese label, Label V
